Christopher Shannon Menswear AW15 collection

Christopher Shannon Menswear AW15 collection combines elements of sportswear with more traditional fabrics to create a range of classically influenced looks.


The collection included cinched in puffer jackets


Intarsia knits with slogans of 'Thanks 4 Nothing' , 'Broken' and 'Save Me'


Oversized applique sweats


Reconstructed popper tracksuiting flashing a bit of bare flesh


Traditional fabrics include wool melanges and striped shirting contrasted with sheen tracksuiting and velcro embellished jerseys that can be customised with stick on shapes.


Colour palette: charcoal, black and white. navy with red, cobalt, soft oranges and yellows inspired by the crossover between the bright sunshine of a summer spent in Aix-en-Provence and the greys of London in the winter.


A plastic bag motif runs throughout the collection, inspired by photographers including Nigel Shafran. This can also be seen in accessories designed for Christopher Shannon Menswear by Judy Blame




Footwear was a collaboration with CAT to produce a limited edition Colorado boot in monochrome with either nylon meshes to emphasise a tech feel and 3D effect or canvas to create two modern industrial boot styles.
